430EXII Vs 550EX

Have the option of buying a 430EXII or a 2nd hand 550EX. Will be using it for outdoor photography. Sometimes using it remotly for night time bike photography. Also want one for in the future when I want to get into wedding photography more!

Whats people experiences and opinions?

550EX gets my vote... it can do manual and take external battery packs.
