A shot as I pass these flowers.
f/5.6, 200 ISO, shutter speed 1/500, 49mm macro.
Help me get better by posting your evaluation and how you would do it differently.

i think it's pretty nice. i don't know what i would do differently without seeing the whole scene.

i may choose a different backdrop, a different angle, or even a different flower. but, i can't say without seeing a wider scene.

besides, i think you did a lovely job.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

Focus and exposure look good. Subject is too centered. However, if you crop out the empty gray area on the right, it will then face out the edge of the image. No wins here.

Very good suggestion about the cropping of the right side gray area. I did it and it turned out much better. Thanks so much for all the comments, how else one can improve as a photographer?
