Happy Canada Day!

I thought maybe all the Canadians in the forum could come on and say hello, and maybe let us know what you plan to do to celebrate (or what you DID if you read this after July 1). Maybe post some pictures?

I think this Maclean's magazine says it best! :p

Btw, does anybody here remember the ancient Particip-Action commercials that used to compare the health of 20 yo Canadian and a 60 yo Swede (or something like that)?! LOL

Ahhh yes, Canada Day.... what will I be doing? Well uhh... nothing because the entire city of Toronto is on strike and half the city smells like ass from the overflowing garbage!

Maybe I'll load a potato canon with dirty diapers and launch them off my condo rooftop onto the picketers on strike.

There used to be Canon gear here but it disappeared.

I sold prints, today! Check out my blog for a select sample of the ones I sold. Cashed in about 450$, I'm happy.

Got the present of a lifetime today...thank you letter from a girl that really loves my photography.

Made my year. I'll be framing this letter. I'll make a thread about it, later on.

Got about 6 orders to fill out..whenever I make an appearance at a show or a festival, a fair or an auction I end up taking down more orders rather than selling so much of what I have. People want different sizes, different shots in different frames or sizes, different mats.

I don't do framing, I use presentation frames. It's a bit of a **** but you can't hit all the pegs with one ball.

LOL! That's a great way to boost the economy of ontario... go on strike and demand more $$$ :) Good luck!

Congrats! Your Aurora pictures are fantastic! That's one advantage of living in the NWT. We get them here too but not like that!

Thank you, I should make a correction to that...totalled 1550 $ today. Had a late evening call print request from someone who had seen my table, there.

:D I love it.

Great Karl!

I don't recall the old Swedish guy in participation, just the claymation commercials.. and Body Break with Hal Johnson and some chick with bad hair! LOL

For Canada I made my kids wear red ( teenage boys they were not pleased with me) and we did a bbq for my hubby's work.
