I've got a love/hate relationship with HDR but have been experimenting a bit recently. Am interested to hear opinions on which of the following shots people like best in terms of appearance/style:

Lowry Bay, Wellington. From 2 shots:

Lowry Bay again. 3 shots this time.

Tangimoana Estuary. Both from 3 shots:

I like them all. Really well done. I think I lean towards #1 though, because it is hot and sweltering here and a place like that would cool me right off. It's nice to know there is winter somewhere in the world. :)

Thanks for the comments.

I use Photomatix and plenty of Photoshop - HDR bits layer masked into straight exposures and vice versa. The bottom two are far straighter Photomatix output with less PS involved.
