Vote for which you think is the most common question here in the Lens section. OOps, I forgot to include something about TCs. Oh, maybe: ef-s ef what's the difference?

"What is the best lens for...."

The most common answer being "It depends what type of .... you want to do"

:)

I had to vote other, because I think there are a few that get asked too frequently to stomach, including the following hits:
What lens is best for...?
Which 70-200?
50 1.8 v. 50 1.4?
My lens is not sharp should I return it?

Seems like many (if not all) of the poll questions could be answered simply by the person asking the question reading the FAQs...

24-70 vs 24-105 kills me.
70-200 f/2.8 vs 70-200 f/4 IS in a similar vein.

The "what lens should canon make???" question, inevitably followed by a "10-1600mm f/1 IS of course" response, then a "but sir, do you realise that would cost $megabux and weigh more than your car?" retort. Those threads bug me :)

I think 7-2 is more common currently. A little while back I would have said 24-70/105.

The one I see most is "what lens"? And a list of several lenses.

Ain't nothin but a thing.

And "what to buy next".

I don't even read these; you inevitably know the answer.

The sharpness question wins for me. Too many questions on this for me to handle.

I notice that; these questions seem to be cyclical in nature, and we'll see the same questions pop up at the same time; which is even more annoying, since there could be one thread everyone could pile into for a while...

What to buy, what next, is this a good add-on to my current range, etc. I think seems to be the most common question.

But all of the questions in the poll do seem to appear a lot here, and including "other" it even hits 100 %.

Kind regards, Wim ;)

If we didn't have these repeat offenders the conversation here might be a tad slow. :) I think you did a pretty good job pulling together all the main candidates here Gasrocks.
