Sorry about the title, I know its weird..oh well.:lol:
Whitetail buck in velvet @ GSMNP, TN. Shot at high ISO in the low light of dawn with a Nikon D1x, 300mm f/4 AFS ED-IF, 1.4x TC.
This is not one of my favorite or best images, but I like the size of and the little abnormal points on the left side of this bucks rack. Very seldom do you see a buck with 3 drop tines on one side like this and plus the sticker point right above the drop tines. This bucks rack is at least to 18-20 inches wide inside. All C&C welcome and thanks for looking.

Your title is spot on if you ask me. The instant I saw the word drop tine I knew it was a buck picture. Very nice shot. The drops aren't huge but getting a nice deer like that in velvet is awsome. Rick

This is really a tremendous buck! You are very, very fortunate to be able to photograph bucks of this caliber in the wild. The places where one can find cooperative, large-antlered bucks in non-captive situations are very few and far between.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

The title isn't weird in my opinion, I couldn't think of a better one in fact. That is a very nice buck, around here drop tines are quite rare. I always enjoy your buck photos.
