It does look like there on an AE8* or similar, it doesn't look like there on the KE30 in the first pic of the original post, + it looks to be the wrong color as well.

Justin D could you confirm it?

Whoah! It was here in Gizzy at 8am this morning!
Will be in Tauranga tomorrow.

Lol it has just left here, I wasn't happy with any of my pics of it thanks to the weather turning crap not long before I got to the beach, so since its back to blue sky and sea I thought I would try and get some better shots of it, so yeah 5:10pm and it was only just visible on the horizon

I thought it was pretty good for being shot with the 75-300mm though?

Yeah, those rims are on an AE86. Two of my friends are really into the old Toyotas.

I'm not very familiar with cars but they sure look nice. Fun to drive too.

JustinD - we're gonna have to call you the official POTN DK!

Friend of mine loved the Trueno so much that he had one imported after he was overseas for the Air Force. Kinda funny - that was almost 20 years ago. He was smart about it too. shipped some of the original parts separate so it would pass customs (think it was an emissions thing) without changing from the Japan stock setup. Don't know how he found all the connections he did without the internet - but he kept up with the mods pretty well. Nobody over here had even heard of drifting back then and I believe the AE86 was already infamous for being great at it. Talk about being ahead of your time.

The funny thing is , both of my friends with the Corollas prefer grip style driving most of the time

my guess is the kit telephoto since the exif data shows that it was done at 250mm

Just curious, how do you find the exif data?

Was playing around with my new flash and my sister asked me to take a 'portrait' of her dog.

I like the Xs but I really wish it dealt with noise better above 800 ISO, and had better autofocus.

well you could do it the long way, dl it and pop it into bridge or another program that will tell you it. Or online I use http://regex.info/exif.cgi (external link)
