Here's a few of my best attempts from a trip last fall, I was thinking of changing bodies - but after a few of these shots - I'm keeping it I really just need to learn more. this one isn't the greatest ^ but I shot it pretty much hand held (leaned against a tree) and I was pretty amazed by the IS. I'm the same, I was thinking of getting a new camera what with all the talk of all the new video enabled dslr's but the 1000d can take perfectly good photos.
