This was my first attempt at a pano. Taken a couple of weeks back at Houston Raceway and just got round to processing it. It's interesting how the angle of shots etc ended up distorting the track (which of course is straight!) but I still thought it was cool.

thanks mike, if i was tagging i wouldn't be wearing the german flag beanie (the black cannot be seen due to the fact it is a longer beanie ment to be worn droopy "rasta style"). my girl made it for me, "gotta rep my hometown! yo!" cannot wait till the World Cup!

apologizes for the tangent.

whats your budget? what conditions will you be using it? low light situations, night life, or family and pets? i own a nifty fifty and i highly recommend this lens, YOU CANNOT GET A BETTER LENS FOR LESS! thats why i love it and the bokeh is amazing. i would suggest a 50mm f1.4 for around 350$ then again its not worth over three times the amount difference.

check it out

i personally find the 50mm f1.8 @ f1.8 sharper and better image quality then the 50mm f1.4 @ f1.4 but at f1.8 nearly identical. Then again you have one stop more in the f1.4 and could get images with better lighting, BUT that is nothing Light Room cannot fix. ALTHOUGH i would find the USM and build quality very nice. But doesnt justify the price just yet. I feel I could stick with my 50mm f.18 until i get a L zoom to take over my kit lens .
