hows the a gripped xs? im thinking about saving for one because when my flash is on the xs it digs into my palm and starts to hurt when having to hold up that camera at weird angels....lol

it's a lot easier to pick up the camera and easier to hold with the grip. build quality seems good too, and it came with 2 free lp-e5 batteries (non canon) from ebay. before i got the grip, my little finger had to rest on the underside of the camera. i feel more confident of holding the camera with one hand now.

With the water mark right in the middle of this pic, I can't seem to find on what you focused, tends to blur the whole image. Interesting/macabre shot though.

I think I am going to pick up a used sigma 17-70 today. has anyone had lots of good photos with this lens?

Yeah I've got two, there fine depends what you want to do with them? I am only just learning, but its good for off camera use.
