I'm thrilled. Just ordered the XS and got it for $425, including shipping (kit lens included). Hopefully it will be in by next weekend. I had an XS before, and regrettably sold it. Now I'm back to the DSLR game, and am very excited. Can't wait to post photos. What a great camera!

wow great price, where did you order it from? I just picked mine up like 2wks ago from butterflyphoto for $469

I got it off Ebay (brand new in box). I just stalked a couple auctions and put in $420 as a high bid and got it for $415 plus 10 bucks for shipping.

Hopefully nobody will pull any nonsense by refusing the product without upselling, etc., but I'm not too worried because I put it on AMEX, which backs up purchases, and Ebay has their protection plan as well. Plus, it was one of Ebay's listed top rated sellers, so it ought to come through alright.

Even luckier is that my dad offered to pay for it. Sweet.

Thank you. bw!

How come it's the quick snaps that I don't think about that often turn out well?

nice! that is an awesome deal. Also if you put it onto a credit card whether its mastercard or visa they will give you an extra year of warranty so you'll have a 2 year manufacturers warranty.

I'm going to call butterflyphoto tomorrow when their open to see if they offer some sort of price match guarantee like best buy does because i purchased my xs 2.5 wks ago and the price dropped from $469 to $441 now.

It's a "muddy" image is why it looks meh color wise. IE it doesn't have much contrast no highlights really, and no black blacks. Also the composure leaves a good bit to be desired, both in the framing and how she is in the picture. Don't mean she has to be perfectly positioned but looking down, face mostly covered with nothing else in the photo going down makes it meh also.

Most trains on a curve, lean. If pic was straightened, ground would be tilted. Look at the 3rd car.

Let's settle this, Three versions; Original, front car straight, telephone pole straight.

One could maybe argue car straight is best, but I think original is best, pole straight looks worst, almost like car is falling over.
