I've been a foul scientist for thirty years. I can assure you that we are certainly looking upon a dead chicken.

I know foul when I see them. ;)

Thank you. bw!

IDK, could be some crystalized dead chicken, that got coated with iron and rusted over time.

This post is FOWL.

Anyways, I live in a very rural area and just about anywhere I look there always seems to be telephone wires in the way of very good shots.

Not to beat up on the train pic but if I look down most streets there aren't but a few "straight" telephone poles.

I don't see any hint of purple in the sky of those photos, my monitor is calibrated with a spyder 3 elite. I didn't change any of the colour balance in those photos, other than daylight wb preset and curves adjustment to darken the tones, oh and I used landscape mode. Perhaps your huey has given you a bad calibration?

Just got round to re-calibrating, the purple seems to have gone, just a deep blue across the top. I really need a nice monitor:o

I have not posted anything in a while. I have been working a lot and trying to shoot when I can. Here are some fairly recent shots I got around to processing.

I just got my Rebel two weeks ago. I am green in the photography world so the pictures might not look that great. Been reading this site for a couple of months now. Lots of great informantion here. What do you think of the pictures?

I don't think the xs has internal memory for storing photos so you really need a memory card. I never use the shoot w/o card option, i'm not even sure what it's used for.
