u think kitlens is more better?..
Better for a trip to Europe, yes. I've never been, but if you were to search the forums you'd likely find lots of people recommending something wider than 50mm.

This is my first SLR and I am looking forward to messing around with the settings and learning all that I can. I hope to one day be able to take pictures half as nice as the ones that I am seeing on here.

Here are some samples, cc appreciated ![]() Please keep in mind that these are straight out of the camera and my first attempt at manual anything. All shots are with the EF-S 18-55mm IS kit lens. You move pretty quick to be shooting in manual! Jeremy

I would recommend a higher f stop maybe in the 8 to 10 range to get everything in focus. Nice use of flash. Gear: a toothed wheel

I had my first gallery show last week and it went well. It was a small place and I only got to hang about 8 large prints but it was a great experience and def helped with networking and getting some more jobs. I love my xs!!!! A quick question......What is everyone's favorite lens to use with this camera? I love the results I get with my 50 1.8 and my sigma EX 70 - 200 2.8, but what is your favorite lens to use with this wonderful little beauty? 5diii,7D, and 50D Gripped/ Tamron 70-200mm G2 2.8/ Canon 50mm 1.4/Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 EX/ Canon 24-70mm 4 L / Tokina 100mm 2.8 Macro/Sigma 1.4x EX Teleconverter/ Godox AD600BM/ Godox x1 TTL triggers / Youngnuo 685, (2)560 IV/ Giotto Tripod, ball head/ Thinktank streetwalker hard drive .... http://www.imprintedphotography.com/
