I tried out a few different cameras in store for the real handling experience (after having already poured over reviews online). It was between the XS and the Nikon D3000. Hands down, the XS felt much more natural in my hands and even though I was just messing around taking pictures in the store, I found it simpler to get results I wanted with the XS. Can't wait to start working with mine! Canon Rebel XS
