I have used mine a sh1tload since I bought it, on a crop its probably the sharpest lens in canons current stock. Atleast from my experience, whilst on a full frame it vignettes slightly but is great for portraits and headshots.
Still very sharp, the glossy feel to it is too much noiseremoval from my side. Lots of old stuff but hey I am a student
