The contrail is a Lufthansa A340-642 heading from Frankfurt to Beijing (probably). Registration unknown.

The 55-250mm is a great and fairly cheap lens.

Does anyone have any experience\comments on Tamron\Sigma 10-20mm lens's? I'm thinking of making a purchase but have only used Canon glass so far but these are so much more affordable.

There was an airshow in town this weekend. I was able to capture this shot with the XS and an EF-S 55-250mm lens. ISO was set to 400, Av mode at f/6.3, giving a shutter speed of 1/4000th. Always willing to accept constructive criticism.
