I have to admit to a similar story myself. I shot in JPEG format for a long time and only discovered how versatile RAW images were after using the camera for quite a while. I look back at some of the old pictures I have taken and wish I had taken them as RAW so that I could rescue them.

I realise that I lack the eye to ever be more than an amateur but at the end of the day at least I can make picture which appeal to me now.

Amen to the rescuing. Ah well, it's a path of learning.

I've only seen your picture of Norwich Cathedral, which I certainly found appealing. My wife's granny and uncles live in Norwich and it was a pleasant surprise to see a familiar landmark.
