First thing that comes to mind is, are you shooting with the focus setting on AI servo? If not, give that a try. My shots were only at ~1/320 sec, so it's not like I was shooting with a really fast shutter.

Incidentally, has anyone tried the new photo gallery for Windows. I think its rather good to be honest, small adjustments.

that "live photo gallery"? I've used it to make panoramas easy peasy, but not much else since I use LR4. however, it does seem more than capable for minor edits of jpegs. from what I gathered it is only a RAW viewer, not an editor...right?
