I'm about to get a 20d, woo hoo!

i went from a 1000d to a 20d, theres no real difference in my pictures but i just think its so much nicer to hold and use, the extra control wheel on the back is good but i do miss the 2.5'' screen, the 20d is 1.8''[tiny]
I'd also reccomend the 17-55mm 2.8, it really is and awesome lens

shot on my 1000d

Just playing around and breaking rules. Excuse this as it is a rather crappy first post.

[QUOTE=darmapow;8808516]Some great evening skies at the moment

Very nice skies and dusk photos (which can be hard to get just right.) Not many colorful sunsets around here.

Kristin, this shot gets my vote for perfect use of the 'rule of thirds'...well done and a very fine pic too.

Use this to see if your lens is focusing properly, set the focus mode to one shot. I know the XS doesn't have micro-adjust but it will help to see if you need to send it in, KWIM.

No, Just a different member for the same price. It is being shipped today. After I paid for it the other member left me a pm, wanting more money for shipping but had not checked to see how much it was.

So I got one for $285 shipped vs $290 or more.
