Hi guys,

please excuse the bad quality of the image (it is a scanned business card) ... How do you think this shot was set up? What equipment was used for it? Obviously, it had a single light source, but what type was it. I'd like to replicate this effect to the T for a project and I need to know what to buy/rent for it. I'm sure it is a simple set up but I still need some guidance. All replies are much appreciated!

So a single soft box? That's all I need? Is there anything tricky about photographing this way with the camera/lens set up?

She is a good friend of mine called Grace.
She is an actress who is due to be in the next Harry Potter. She is also in an internet series called Zara's notebook http://www.dontdelay.tv/zara/homePage.swf (external link) Two of the photos on the main page were taken by me (the one top right, and the one bottom centre).

This set up is fairly straight forward to set up, just try and use as dark a room as possible, so you can control the light.
