Hi all

Here are the first few shots from my pet project this year. This time I'm following a Merlin pair and hopefully I will get my "dream" shots of this species later on. Merlins are one of the smallest species of falcons in the world and not the easiest to photograph (at least not here in Iceland). Shots 4 and 6 are of the female. Please feel free to comment (C&C). :-)

Wow, Sindri, excellent work. I will only get to see these in pictures, but the pics are the best. Great quality.

Once again I am in awe my friend. These compositions are superb and the backgrounds perfect.

Amazing work. Did you go under cover and stake them out to get these?

The American Kestrel is smaller than the Merlin found here, I'm not familiar with those in Iceland, must be a very tiny bird.

I'm really looking forward to your upcoming captures of this pair. All of your shots are "dream" shots to me. :D

Sindri, I love these little falcons and only have a couple of shots of a female. I wish I had a lot more.

Your images are, as expected, stunning. You've done a fantastic job with these.
