So I think I'm doing the math right. In Illinois gas tax is 58 cents per gallon. I paid $2.56 this morning so the gas actually cost $1.98 so the tax is 22% of the total cost.

Sounds about right... :(

I'm not sure of the "tax rate", I saw $3.09 (USD) a gallon today, I heard we pay more for the "Special California Blend".

Nice to see that our hillbilly state is right up there on the list...at least the people in NY have decent roads to show for their taxes. They even have shoulders...a rarity in NC.

My laptop controls the desktop (Dell Optiplex 755) over the LAN. I just move my mouse off the top of my laptop screen and it's on the desktop. Fully encrypted between the two as well. :D

Shooting through a heat warped Lexan "filter" really taxes your images...but since it isn't something I see often...I'll share.

Nice, that looks useful - and seamless (which is something I have not been able to do previously). How did you set that up? One can always use more display acreage, and I have a few unused computers around here.

Synergy2 is the program that does it, and it can handle a ton of computers with one keyboard/mouse server. I run it over an OpenVPN tunnel for encryption.

Ah!

I evaluated Synergy a couple of years ago but didn't meet my needs. Much has changed; perhaps time to take a re-look :)
