I've been feeling like crap the past two days. Two nights ago I woke up a bunch of times with hot/cold flashes and have been nauseous and headachy since then... Very weird. :|

Holy cwap.. same here. I have had the worst headach and the last two nights on my nightly run my times have been horrible. Last night I though I was really pushing it and would have a decent time but I was running 22 seconds slower a mile. That's horrible.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

An old friend of mine's son was born on 9/9/90. That meant he was 9 years old on 9/9/99...

My dad was born 7/7/37 so he turned 70 on 7/7/07

Me toooooooooooo. And I have a performance review tooooooday. You think it would be bad if I walk in, slap down my performance writeup for my boss to read (he makes us write our own) then put my head on his desk for a quick nap while he reviews it?

Mine was about two weeks ago. Boss was running late and still wanted to catch lunch, o we did over lunch at grill chicken restaurant. I got a good review ( and no I didn't pay for his)

Get well guys.

My RRS stuff (mmmm Really Right Stuff stuff - a tad redundant) arrived yesterday. Always super impressed with their engineering and quality. There is a thread on here where CDS has said if he ever wins a packet he will buy up their whole catalogue and just sit on the floor and play with it like Lego.
I feel the same way, fun putting different bits together to come up with something new. I'm hoping for some ok weather to test out my new flash brackets. I bought the B87-B and a small hot shoe adapter.

I had to look up a SX110IS:o.

Testing out some lighting setups this morning.

No.1 Diffused 580EX Regular Flash, I used a Lumiquest Softbox III and had the flash mounted to the lens mount. Not a perfect setup yet as I don't have enough vertical movement to point the flash down, but this offers a lot of promise as it will be the biggest light source.

No.2 This one with a Really Right Stuff B87-B bracket and the MT-24 Twin light. Been saving for this for a while and hope to be able to diffuse the macro light better when mounted on this bracket. Moving the heads of the twin light away from the end of the lens is slightly counter productive as the light source get smaller this way. But, I can then vary their position better and also add different diffusers. Some of the smaller Lumiquest diffusers will now fit also.

It's a pain that there is not a lot about in the garden ATM. Good news is that my Mandarin tree has just started to sprout after my major hack and cut job about 6wks ago.

Yes, at 1:1. Set to 1:1 on the lens then focused by moving back and forth.

Mmmm, just had a bowl of left over Chicken & Sweet Corn soup for lunch. Even better the next day.

Very nice. I'm still using a sheet of printer paper taped over the flash head.
