I hereby proclaim the 7D is superior.

Because it's lighter, cheaper, and easier on the budget, has a cool airplane-like gauge that the 1D4 doesn't have, and it actually comes without the hated battery grip.

:p

Now the 5D2, that is definitely superior.

I think that my 30d is superior to all of 'em! :-D.

Why? Well:
I own it already
I am completely familiar with it and its nuances
8 MP is more than sufficient for my needs
Noise levels are fine as far as I am concerned as well.
It feels like an old friend.
I fully understand its limits and can work within them happily without blaming Canon :)

Hi Riley, how are things going with you? Still having Spanish withdrawal symptoms?

Things are going well. Just busy as all get out.

I am currently working on my Senior thesis and we are in the midst of running our pumpkin patch on the farm so that keeps me plenty busy.

At least my body has finally readjusted to not having a siesta everyday :).

I'm thinking the only people who are going to be interested in this feature are going to be those doing covert surveillance, 'cause the images aren't going to be worth a whit for any other purpose.

What time are you opening this coming Saturday? We want to stop by with the kids, and get back home in time for the Ducks game.

The kids decided to take a little tour of their neighborhood this afternoon...
miracle nobody hit one...there were at least 30 of them in the middle of a pretty heavily traveled highway.

Yup.....awesome reasons....that's the 5D1 and 5D2 for me. Same with 24-105, no matter how they carp about "how IS won't stop motion" and "f/4 sucks".

I'd add just one... "That camera feels like it was built for ME." More of the stuff I need, less of the stuff that I don't.

It looks worse than a webcam even at web resolution. I bet I could push the 5D2 two stops and get that kind of results easily.

Nothing worse than unsupervised minors... ;)

Interesting find.
