It's UDMA like the 5D II (but not the 1D III) but otherwise pretty well matches the 1D III for features. Jon

I was unsure of just how much I would use it Post-Spain. But more and more I am lazy with my photography and if one lens can be used, I will use it. And I don't feel like I am sacrificing any quality along the way with the 24-105.

Funny you asked the way you did as it reminded me of a comedy routine with George Wallace (the comic, not the politician...) The basis of the routine was him running for President and they asked him where would he hope to be in case of a Nuclear Attack. "Far enough away that I can ask: 'What Was That?'"
