The kids decided to take a little tour of their neighborhood this afternoon...
miracle nobody hit one...there were at least 30 of them in the middle of a pretty heavily traveled highway.

^^^ Awesome coffee pics Lisa - now I'm hankering for caffeine! :)

Mooo - afternoon all!

HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!

Without boring you all to tears, I've recently mentioned some medical stuff I've been going through. Soreness in my neck and throat for about 2 months, trouble swallowing, etc. Blah blah blah. I kept getting some vibes from my doctor that this could be something "horribly serious". I love it when they scare you like that, and they haven't even done the d@mn tests yet.

I saw the Ears/Nose/Throat guy today, and he shoved a camera tube down my throat – and it’s NOT cancer. My thyroid sonogram from Monday also came back as “normal” (though they don’t tell you much), so now it will be a normal round of x-rays and other minor tests to see if the docs can figure what is ailing my neck. It's shaping up to be something muscular/skeletal, and that I can live with. Yay!

Whew!

Thanks POTN firends for all the support you gave me. It helped keep my nerves a bit less jangled.

That's great news!

I suppose not...from now on...I am just ''member".

In your own mind, but it still reads, "what a windbag"....;)

Nice photo Jay. I recently tried a couple shots of one of my grandsons looking through a chain link fence at the Portland airport, but it didn't turn out this well.

Too many angles can be too much. I started out liking this, but the more I played with it in Lightroom, the more I started getting a headache....

The fence part was cool, it was the razor wire encircling the perimiter that made me wish I was awake.

IIRC, it was a test of the "Little Boy" bomb or a derivative thereof.

That might have been one of the test shots of "Atomic Annie," an artillery piece that fired a nuclear round...

Yup, lotta angles...

I do like the overall warmth of this because of the homongeny of brown.
