thanks guys, taken in natural sunlight too. I would like remote flash as that might help, not to sure tho.

zombies, hmm they think they are people too huh.

nice set of photos there greg, the blur on the last one adds to the gore that person has got. plus the expression he has got also. it's a bit to scary me thinks.

With the remote flash it will depend on how close you have it to the front of the lens. I've used a 580 slaved off a MT-14 Ring light in this one. It was few years ago but IIRC I just held the 580 in my left hand. Couldn't find any in-flights with just the 580 off camera. These days I just use a MT-24 Twin light. A few extra arms come in handy when trying to do this:p.

Why would cropping have any effect on the hats? You can crop an image from anywhere...all you would lose is the disembodied hand and the top of the mystery head.

oops! I thought you were referring to the top of the stuffed guy!:o:lol:

Good catch.

Lovely shot Sid, the bright colours work very well.

NIce pp on #2.
Thanks!

This was slightly blurred to start with. Does the motion blur added to the Background work?

That looks very cool, given the subject matter.

Is anyone still awake? 3:20am and I still have most of a lab report to write. I think I'll save it for the morning.

G'night!

You had me confused Sid....couldn't figure how a crop of the bottom of the image was going to effect the hats on the scarecrows....hehehe

The used market 5D prices are pretty good, and you will be happy if you get one. IMO, the 24-105 fov is much nicer on full frame.

Regarding reflectors, it's almost impossible to get little ones to stay in one place long enough to use reflectors. It might make a cool video though... one photog and 4 or 5 adults holding reflectors, chasing a 2 year old around your farm.:lol::lol:

That would be a RIOT!!!!!!!

aussieskier wrote in post #8894529 (external link)
 That would be amusing to watch.

Yes... yes it would!!!!

Some great photos here lately!!!! Some odd ones... so not sure about the whole Zombie walk thing... they used to do it here too... Odd...:lol::lol:

DANG.....you gotta love the 5DMk2's ability to place 22MP in a single frame....

I was trying to find out what kind of handheld microphones they used at a event that I was photographing some time ago. The 5D2 delivers so much resolution that I can simply magnify the images and read the TINY model numbers off the mikes!!

Audio Technica AT220, Sennheisers and Shure.... this place sure buys all the good gear.

Not here ...

I know.. it's getting really tiring. We had a total of 30 minutes of semi-blue sky this weekend. More like a break in the clouds to tease. Then the rain came back.
