So I can see where global warming melts the snow but why would it destroy the barrier reef?

There was a thread floating around last week about this guy. I don't know why, but he was pretty much panned. I though the idea was pretty cool. Not practical, but fun none the less.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

course he is going to be panned and lauded...

I just added the link because it was something "different"

Oh and JJ, how are you liking the 7D?

I would have expected a few more pats on the back for ingenuity though.

The 7D, I have nothing but praise for the body. I am one happy camper. The one feature I'm liking most but still having some trouble with is the remote trigger of my flashes. It's really handy to not be cabled all the time but i always forget to set one of the flashes right and they all don't go off. It's usually the 580 that i screw up with.

Coral is pretty temperature-sensitive too. Raise or lower the water temperature a few degrees (external link) and it dies off.

That and the acidity...with more pollutants in the air, you get more acid rain, more pollutants straight into the waters, the pH level lowers (more acidic waters) thus the coral die off...

Oh and more fertilisers in the waters from über farming allow algae and jellyfish to thrive and less fish, all part of the ecosystem that screws up coral and fish :)

Just talked to the wife, it is called spectacle. It's in season 2. We have been watching it all year. It's a pretty cool show.
