I have tried alot of different beers, never could tolerate the taste. I am always willing to try another though. Willing to try anything once and then again to make sure I did it right the first time. :p Rum and gin are my tops.

Gin... (Where is my shudder smiley) I can't stand that stuff. Although there is an amusing story from Barcelona that involves a fifth of Gin

I never liked gin either....until I had some Bombay Sapphire....I'm hooked. I like it with lemonade and a a splash of 7Up on a hot night....very refreshing.

I've had Sapphire, still nothing. Mum likes the stuff to make exactly what you describe.

Lemonade and 7-up is tasty by itself too :-D.

Tonight's samples...Jever Pils, Spaten Pils and Pilsner Urquell. Jever is still my favorite...although the PU is pretty tasty. Spaten gets a thumbs down.

I'll drink to that. I wonder when Obama is having his next get-together on the Whitehouse lawn.

I don't understand why the local CBS affiliate here had to report at length on what beers each person had at that meeting...

Taste in beers is pretty individualized. The beer choices were pretty radically different.
