On my commute I pass the fish packing plant. A halibut longliner offloading after a trip at the end of October this year, the grass is just turning brown. The red flag flying on the boat is the flag of the Haida Nation. Artifacts have been found in these islands linking the Haida back 13,000 years.

Wow! That's really interesting Mike. It'd be great to see more shots from the river with different lighting....

Come on guys....if you're driving to work, make sure you take a camera with you, just in case those precious or amusing shots are right in front of you!
Here's one I caught last week...I'd hate to see what kind of office these guys design!!!!

Looking at the quality of the stuff in the back of the truck,,my office..

Atleast I've got a bed in mine.. One night a few weeks ago I was waiting on a download and decided to have a quick kip.. I awoke around 5.30am with a pussy (the feline variety) sitting on my head

Not on the way to work but in my travels I was stopped at a red light and was able to get this shot of two dust devils.
