I can't begin to tell you how amazing the place is...every piece of stone, hand carved...every piece of copper, hand hammered....The furniture, the artwork...the fabrics....you will not be disappointed. The library, the great hall, the conservatory....breathtaking. I guarantee that given your appreciation of those things...you will be literally speechless. :D

I have a niece who is at Bethesda and another in Rutherford. I think if we made it to a 2010 meetup we may try to extend it to see some additional things. Biltmore would be high on the list.

I forgot to mention...the Biltmore was the first house to have central air, walk in refrigerators, full electrification, residential elevators....the list goes on and on.

It certainly would be a great addition to the trip.

Nah, only 10pm...I am a nightowl.

New season kicked off today, and we have a bye till next week. So a few rounds of tennis with the missus was good :)

So I am chilling out, drinking a beer and watching Mr Bond on TV.

Got my laptop back from IT before I left work, so re-installing little bits of software that I need....at least it is running smoothly now without switching off on it's own accord!

I almost forgot. If you still want to do that deal let me know. I'll get the address over to you tonight.

It was dependent on my getting the 5DII, as soon as I resolve my paypal issues etc. and pick one up we will go thru with it.

Hmmm. I haven't tried, so I don't have advice. When you save your Pro Show, how do you save it? Try a different way.

The only other way is a quicktime video and that loads tiny and at poor quality.

So I found out today that my Gram broke her foot on Monday. Lied to my sister as to why her cleaning lady was taking her to the doc, and didn't tell my father till today. This is the woman who had a stroke 8ish years ago, can barely care for herself and refuses to go into a nursing home. Poor Dad. I'm LIVID with her, but it doesn't pay, cuz she doesn't remember anyway.

Oh that's what the issue is from. I saw that you were having an issue with a seller but I didn't see what the purchase was. Good luck getting it resolved. No rush on my end, whenever you are ready.

Lisa congrats on 53,000. What is the appropriate gift for 53,000. I think it's wood for 25,000 and maybe gold for 50,000. It can't be paper or crystal. Hmmm

These oldies are always so stubborn in their ways!!

Hope she gets better fast, Diane.

Speaking of broken appendages, how is your mother doing, Jim? Has she managed to paint your house yet?

Thanks Guys. I just wish I knew how to help him. Sucks that Gram and I used to be close, but she's pulled so much crap the last couple of years since my Gramps passed....oy.
