That reminds me, I took a photo wearing my new TR group shot apparel that Dan did up that great drawing for. I opted for something other than the t-shirt. (can't believe I forgot about this).

I wish you'd forgotten completely...

you know the one thing I hate about nikon lenses? It's the price. Probably you might have expected me to say that...since they are incrementally higher than canon. But would you expect to pay $2-4K for a 28 1.4mm or a 58 1.2 mm MANUAL lens?

It's crazy that people will pay that. And then wear it like a badge of honor.

well, that concludes my rant for the evening. G'night again fellow zombies and zombettes.

I think if they spend that much they have to show it off or hide it in shame.

Be strong, and don't be intimidated. You've gotten this far just fine, and now you know he's not gong to be sweet and lovable. If you don't prepare yourself emotionally, he will take advantage of any perceived vulnerabilities. STOMP the SONOFA*****!!

Maybe even act a little disinterested.;)

That is totally my plan.... I am just dreading having to even be in that space with him. UGH!

Wool is Biltmore as incredible as it appears on tv/print? It is on my list of must see's just because of my love of fine architecture and construction.

Biltmore is INCREDIBLE.... There is some amazing stuff to see inside and out!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how amazing the place is...every piece of stone, hand carved...every piece of copper, hand hammered....The furniture, the artwork...the fabrics....you will not be disappointed. The library, the great hall, the conservatory....breathtaking. I guarantee that given your appreciation of those things...you will be literally speechless. :D

Yeah that ^^^^

BOBERT Congratulations, praying all will go well.

I have to agree on the the cloth diapers and kids generally potty train faster. Diane needs to let little bit know that.;) Aiden will be 3 next week and isn't off the disposable diapers yet. Though I hear he went 3 days last week with out wetting them.

As far as food, if nursing isn't an option, I hope this one doesn't have the digestion issues Evan had. Once on solids, nothing like growing your own vegetables and blending them to a puree. Kids are less picky when they start out tasting the real thing.

TIFF you did well with the baby shots. I like both the color and the B&W on the second shot you posted.

HARM nice work in LR.

Texas has two entries, both weird. California serves up frog legs (Seriously, California?) and a hot beef sundae makes an appearance (that should please Puddle)

We are more concerend with big ticket items like a crib, stroller and car seat though only a one time expense....then the food is the other expense which is frequent. We spent lots on Evan since he had a sensitive stomach and had to get those $25 cans of powdered milk which lasted us like 3 days at the most each can. Oi!

Most of those things we just handed back and forth among friends and family. And baby clothes are in great abundance and always in good shape because they don't wear them out. We (and many others) found that unless you really wanted to spend the money on new, kids until they are starting to wear things out, and old enough to start asking for stuff, were actually quite cheap. Of course, Lisa did not work, but was a stay-at-home mom, so we did have to be a bit frugal. That sure sounds pricey on the milk, my nephew used what is likely the same stuff, but fortunately they were able to wean him onto cows milk later.
