Bobert, its a shame we're not closer, because I've got a whollllllllllllle bunch of that sort of thing that I'm hoping to unload here shortly. Changing table, jogging stroller (that will stick around for a bit yet), regular stroller....all kinds of stuff. :( You can have it if you come for it!

 I think I've driven enough recently...~2200 miles to FL and back and all my work trips, last one at ~450 miles in 2 days. If I were closer, I'd so do it though.

Wife and I had the cloth diapers discussion. We both quickly vetoed it. Just don't get one of those cribs that will be recalled when yet another dropside mechanism fails. If I had it to do all over again, I'd eschew the whole drop-side business, we never used it much. When he was an infant, the mattress was high enough to put him in w/o having to drop the side, and now, he stands when he wants out, and it's relatively easy to put him in w/o lowering the side.

me, too ... country fried bacon sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen.

Air cooled....

This case (external link) Room for 8 120MM fans (Well, 7 if you want any sort of internal optical drive ....), it does have ports in the back for an external watercooler, if I should ever decide to do that. There are reports that with a little creativity, a radiator can be installed in the top.

I'm installing an extra intake fan in the front (with a second drive cage) and two more exhaust fans, so it should keep the case nice and cool.

The cloth diaper thing was vetoed here when just last week or so a friend of ours happened to mention that she hated when baby butts explode out of the diaper on breast milk....that can't be a pleasing situation.
Which reminds me....this is still one of the funniest videos to me whenever I see it...since we are on the subject of babies and...uh..diapers.

Not here. I was the oldest of 3 boys, but I still had lots of cousins older that I got the handmedowns from. Can't say I really noticed or cared much, at least until I got to school age.

Well of course you didn't notice, you were the first born :p.
But, uh...why did you care about clothing handme downs in school? It's not like you wear clothing often...just those aprons :p

On a side note, isn't it funny though how the first born child in a family usually gets almost all new and exciting baby stuff, all the photos and videos.....then the second, third and so on child...they get the handme downs that are beat up and there are usually only a handful of baby photos and videos of them. I noticed that with my family.

Dunno know yet. Evan had a problem with the boobie milk. So we'll see.

It is a bummer about the 2nd child. I take way fewer pics of Ian than Aidan. Though...he does get quite a few new clothes. But, that's because he was born a season later than Aidan.

And, heck, all you can do is try on the boobies.

That is wild Bobert, I've never heard of an infant not being able to nurse and needing formula instead.

My mom had to quit nursing me to put me on soy.

3Turner wrote in post #8290391 (external link)
Yeah, we were surprised too. I think it was a number of things though. Evan had jaundice (we got a billiruben light), then for awhile he wouldn't take at feeding time and one day he became ill with RSV and doc lady said to give him the stuff for sensitive stomachs. Finished that time on the powder like doc said and when trying to go back to nursing, Evan would never take. Wife pumped though and bottle fed the milk when she could, but even at that Evan would push the nipple of the bottle out of his mouth with his tongue after the first swig..but put the powder stuff in the bottle and he'd gobble it up...it was truely funny to watch him be picky...with a milk diet.

because of that^^^ Jaundice crap.

The new baby will be totally different I'm sure. It'll all work out.

I brought my P&S Canon A410, and the Flip for videos. No DSLR, what was I thinking. And for the life of me I have no idea what my Facebook Password is.

While Mrs. Belmondo and I are still trying to decide whether or not to have children, you might have just pushed us in the direction of remaining childless.

I have a strong gag reflex, and it appears that could be a problem.

Congratulations, Robert.

I was the third child. I understand hand-me-downs. I was only slightly traumatized by that, and have long since forgiven the two older siblings who preceded me.

Can't watch the video until I'm home ... But, uhh.. One of the first photo sessions after Christopher came home ended badly (explosively) when I decided we needed a newborn baby bottom pic.

Heh. I haven't seen the video yet, but it can't be as bad as having your (now on solid foods) child projectile vomit all over you.

I don't gag at many things, but that did it..

And, yeah Bobert ...

Core2 Quad, 4 GB memory, 2 500GB SATA drives, etc... About the only thing I really skimped on was the video card, A Radeon 3850, but I figure I can upgrade that later if I want to. Monster system.

Me, too ... seeing as the fans I wanted were out of stock, I had to go for a different brand that seems to have a higher dB rating, Of course, I'm running a small desk fan to keep my system cool at the moment, and have 2 tiny 80mm fans spinning like no tomorrow, so we'll see.
