I didn't see Waylon and Willie! ;)

Ah but I was singing it the whole time. I would love to go back there on a Friday or Saturday night for the live music.

Going to Luckenbach Texas,
Waylon and Willie and the boys.

Especially near that mailbox, right?

I liked the "bills" box....

I'll keep the veggies in mind...we'd have to store buy though.

For a little one, I'd try to find organic. No need to expose them to any more chemicals then you can avoid.

I totally lost it on the garden hose clip. My dog came over to see what was wrong.:lol::lol:

Cracks me up all the gagging...having grown up with 3 brothers and having a husband and son that brag about their own odorous creations, it cracks me up that a little baby can bring them to their knees.

The one with the ladies was just painful.

Lumiquest Softbox = What was the problem with it? They look pretty handy. I haven't pulled the trigger yet so would be interested in some real world feedback.

Beats me, first I knew he had any issues with it, he uses it often.

I didn't know that there were pelicans on the Mississippi.

They congregate the heaviest between D&L 12 and 13. Very heavy in the Sabula area.

We had a huge F5 (external link) come through a few years back and do some real damage. It passed less than a mile from my house. We too had no idea except we heard it. It wiped out a school and killed many. The tornado warnings did not go on untill after the event. It took that event to finally install a updated warning system.

Was that the one that hit Joliet so bad?

JJ he mentioned that the softbox took too much light away from the flash, bouncing seemed to be better. go ahead and ask him, he won't bite.

News to me...oh wait, softbox, yeah he doesn't use it, he does use the bouncer a lot though.

gjl711 wrote in post #8290886 (external link)
Hmm.. I was actually looking at it for when bouncing is difficult, like macro stuff.

See above, we both use the bouncer a lot, and it has helped me in some macro situations.

ERIC can't look at your gallery right now, but it is bookmarked for later.

PETE just looking at your flow chart makes me wail. Time to hit a pub, I'd say.

Yet another lunch hour pleasingly passed by catching up.

Oh, and I meant to say in my short catch-up a little bit ago:

Congrats, Bobbert and Mari (and Evan)!

And, Jim... Get a room, already! Sheesh!

There are 4 missions still in use along the river. I have to start following my own written workflow. I am in the process of going back and captioning all of the photos in LR and smugmug. Should have it done by tonight.

Phew... The afternoon's work is finally sorted out. A few more bits to do tomorrow, but I broke the back of the hard stuff...

This is what an afternoon's hard work looks like. Each one of these blobs has various bits of workflow instructions inside them. The tricky thing is that if anything fails, the thing just stops without saying what was wrong...

Several people were on the verge of throwing their cameras while trying to capture one of these guys....they didn't seem to want to pose...and heavy clouds made for slow shutter speeds.
