Jon, Crissa, And Eli.
Eli finally lost it after being pent up in a car all day. Jon fell asleep.
Super kid

Nice rant there Zane. I never knew that the monuments area was still pretty crowded going into the dusk/evening hours.

lol...it's a common occurrence for many in this town. Idk why but the menfolk seem to think it's necessary to get lit on a regular basis. It could be worse.

That's because there is only: tip cow or get drunk.:lol::lol:

Our church provides garden space for members and extras are often put outside the front door for all to enjoy....Mmmmmm...fresh cucumber sammiches for lunch today. :D

JJ you didn't feel that one of 2-3 years ago? It woke me up the glass on the gun case started rattling so loud, not to mention the bed shaking. I also think I felt a couple tremors when I was in Oregon. Felt like a big truck had passed by, but; no big truck to be seen.

Off again, seems we need to go back to church after second service to load the software for this week's VBS Spotlight Drama and make sure we know all the right switches to use when the time comes.

Oh, and if anyone is interested, venison roast for supper, in the slow cooker with all the veggies. I love slow cookers.

I love reading posts like this. It gives me a view of a person's dwelling and lifestyle.

"Why, last year we had a trembler here! My glasses on the gun safe, you know, the one that we keep the AK-47's and the Tommy? well they were shakin' real bad. Then we heard the old chest in the living room, in which we keep the detonators, that actually moved across the floor! Thank goodness we had the foresight to really strap down the Claymore mine boxes."

I also think I felt a couple tremors when I was in Oregon. Felt like a big truck had passed by, but; no big truck to be seen.

Sorry, that was me walking through the house. I tried to be quiet. :o

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Nope. I was all disappointed and everything. My sister felt it and others I know but if it never made the news, I would not have known it was there. I don't want a big one, maybe just a 4.5 or something like that. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

We had a tremor here a couple of years ago, Birmingham was the epicenter and we live 25 miles away. It was quite alarming, but I tend to to talk about it. Its hard to tell a good story about your earthquake experience when you were busy in the bathroom at the time

Becky How do you have glass in a gun case? Mine live in a steel gun safe. (and that is inspected yearly)

We have Britains Got Talent, we also get to see Americas Got Talent - I am currently watching Indias Got Talent and it is by far the best of the three (if you use awfulness as the benchmark of good television)

Jenn one more question. What is wrong with the images? The shutter speeds on all but #6 are to slow to not be blurry when handheld.

The only one that was NOT blurry was #6... the other 5 were totally blurry and blown out...

Yeah I'd not talk about it either! Bwahahahahahahahaha I know we've had small quakes here but I never felt any of them...

I was in the Navy, and they were feeding us C-rats from 1945, although this was in the early 60s. I suspect they would not be the diet of choice for people on a low-sodium regimen.

Two C-Ration meals a day were supposed to be sufficient to sustain the average infantryman... There was so much fat, sugar and salt in them, it's a small wonder half the US Army didn't drop dead in the field from clogged arteries.

Take a Benadryl. Take 5 and you apparently will be good for a snake bite or two.

LOL!!
