JJ you didn't feel that one of 2-3 years ago? It woke me up the glass on the gun case started rattling so loud, not to mention the bed shaking. I also think I felt a couple tremors when I was in Oregon. Felt like a big truck had passed by, but; no big truck to be seen.

You are so cool ;)

Sorry, that was me walking through the house. I tried to be quiet.

Becky How do you have glass in a gun case? Mine live in a steel gun safe. (and that is inspected yearly)

What is the word, oh yeah, freedom :p
Actually it used to be, and still is some places, pretty normal for the den to have a glass gun case. So your guests can see your shooters  Due to the idea that guns get on the street through break ins, it has fallen from favor in more urban places. There is a vast portion of this country that break ins just don't happen, so there is really no reason not to display them, or lock your door for that matter. The other thing is, an 18 year old with a drivers license can go into a gun store and buy a rifle or shotgun over the counter. Telling the guy sitting alone in the middle of 9000 acres he has to keep his guns in a safe doesn't make much sense. Except for the home defense pieces I keep everything in a safe. Including the Ak-47, Ar-15, Mini-14, and a bunch of variants of "scary guns".

Hi folks. Back from a visit from Eli and Crissa then Leyla and I went for a ride. We put Eli up on Harley and led him around a bit. I think he had fun.

13.Home

The member orgainizing this venture loves architechtural photography, it should be a good day for photos.

That sounds like a pretty cool club outing. HERE (external link) is where our club is going on their next shoot. I'm thinking I may pass on it for a number of reasons. The biggest is that street photography just isn't my thing. A lot of our members just eat it up but it leaves me cold. Another reason I'm probably going skip the shoot is parking. It's impossible to find a parking place in that part of town on a normal day (if San Diego has such a thing...), much less during a festival with 15,000 expected attendees.

Looks like enough going on that I could be comfortable shooting, but; yeah, I'm not good about street shooting either, this being a festival, I could do some.

YAY!!!! All the photos are laid out now for the wedding book. I'm inserting the quotes they want now. There is a light at the end of this particular tunnel, before entering the next one. :D
