Took a few shots at a little music festival today. I'd like some honest input on this particular shot. Thanks.

I only do honest;) It is interesting to look at, for me, but that's my thing. I don't think the average person would look at it much. I am a photographer and avid people watcher so I am happy to look close and find myself thinking about the couple standing closest to the camera. The thing is, they, and the other subjects, are not all that interesting. If it was a unique couple it may be "better". I can't really see it on a wall, in a magazine, and unless you knew the folk I can't see looking more than once.

My take is kinda like Zane's, I was drawn to the couple in the middle, but the rest of the image does little to support it.

Just because you can't understand good ole southern gentleman,

I have no doubt you are such, but you are in the heart of the strongest southern speak there is. It is interesting how North Carolina, to Georgia, to Bama and on over to Texas all have their own flavor of accent. An accent that varies greatly between a gentleman like yourself, a blue collar guy, or a rural person. I guess that is the case all through the states but to my ear the accents are strongest and most varied in the south.

Coolness...the picture is for the two people standing closest to the camera. They just wanted a casual snap.

How about this one?

Wool, the people look hot and tired and my attention is drawn to the guy looking like Zane with chin whiskers and the girl standing up on the left. If that's your intention, it works well for me.

Apparently an accent has to be pretty strong and pronounced for me to notice it.

We should set up a conference call with everyone in this thread so we can all talk together at once and settle the accent question once and for all...

I kind of like this shot, to tell the truth. But, I'm not a fan of the processing.

They will like it.
This is more interesting because she has layers of interest. I don't like the guys blurry head in the foreground.
