Coolness...the picture is for the two people standing closest to the camera. They just wanted a casual snap.

How about this one?

looks like two people hitting on each other.

Much, much better for me, Dan. It has more human interest to it, especially given their expressions. Maybe crop or clone out the head in the corner.

CRISSA glad you had safe travels. Hope you get velcro kitty off you soon.

BOBERT thanks for sharing some vaction shots.

dinner was delicious and you are welcome anytime. BTW dessert was vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries and strawberries.

CAT/LISA glad to hear you made it back safe and sound. Are you happy with the first looks at your shots?

Sure good to hear all the positive thoughts on the 24-70. It s/b here on Thursday. Sent it to Curt's office since we suspect there will be a signature required and it is easier for that type of delivery at his office than mine. I have the feeling the box will be opened before it gets home.

Since it is a work night, guess I better sign off, I'll see you all tomorrow.

I have no doubt you are such, but you are in the heart of the strongest southern speak there is. It is interesting how North Carolina, to Georgia, to Bama and on over to Texas all have their own flavor of accent. An accent that varies greatly between a gentleman like yourself, a blue collar guy, or a rural person. I guess that is the case all through the states but to my ear the accents are strongest and most varied in the south.

:lol::lol:

My accent is worse than it used to be. Right after I got out of College I sounded more like some one from the upper midwest. MI area. Now I sound like I belong here. Which sucks.

  I have this problem at work. When someone calls the help desk and I answer the phone it's usually about five seconds into the call before I can decipher the first word from their end of the conversation. I listen too slow...

Wool, the people look hot and tired and my attention is drawn to the guy looking like Zane with chin whiskers and the girl standing up on the left. If that's your intention, it works well for me.

They are the ones that want the photo. So I am guessing that it hit the mark.

I kind of like this shot, to tell the truth. But, I'm not a fan of the processing.

Not a whole lot of processing there....mostly a RAW conversion. Is it anything in particular?

short5 wrote in post #8348480 (external link)
They will like it.
This is more interesting because she has layers of interest. I don't like the guys blurry head in the foreground.

The guy in the foreground really bothers me too....problem is...if I slide the crop up....it creates another issue...back to the drawing board.

Odd... It looks like an oversaturated HDR to me. I don't usually see shots look like that SOOC. In my experience it's usually a LR preset to blame.

Greetings Folks. Home from a great family weekend at the homeland.

A couple for the Fish Dood. This is very near where we both grew up and it epitomizes the area: fog & cows. :D I snapped this one on my way to camp with a load of Starbucks. Had to wait for the cows to cross.

I lost focus on my favorite from this set, but a random kitty I found:
