Chris....obvious you weren't wearing one of Sid's hateful hats....that cat doesn't seem all that irritated.

Sid...you on the other hand, have managed to irritate those kitties to no end. What is your secret? Is it really in the hat?

I met a bunch of cats yesterday evening.

Here's one of my favorite cat photos. Her name is Cookie and she lives at Disneyland where she begs for food at the White Water Snacks cafe:

No HDR, no LR preset, and actually dropped the red channel to -12. The light was pretty harsh...dropped it to -15 across all the channels. Better?

A little better, but there's still something about it that just doesn't feel right to me. I guess it must be the harsh lighting and all the shadows that are fighting for my attention.

That's it for Saturday evening, and it's too hot for cat hunting tonight. I walked around the St. Stephens neighborhood for 45 minutes before Mass and found these. There were a few more that I couldn't get close enough to.... I only had the 85L.

You need to do a calendar "the Cats of Saint Stephens" and sell it as a fund raiser, those shots are gorgeous!!

*eyes closed* (Tell me when it's safe to look again...)

Honestly, to me, this one looks much more natural (ie: unprocessed) than the other.
