That is what you call that color horse especially if the spots are red or brown. My guy is a flea bitten gray. [IMG]http://shortwave5.smugmug.com/photos/225147851_BtwGb-L.jpg Pretty horse Zane. 'Flea bitten gray' doesn't sound like a flattering name for a color type, thanks for the definition. JSolie wrote in post #8349384 Thanks! But I must call it a night.... Night, and happy birthday!

Anyway, here to catch up. puddlepirate44 wrote in post #8345701 I love reading posts like this. It gives me a view of a person's dwelling and lifestyle. "Why, last year we had a trembler here! My glasses on the gun safe, you know, the one that we keep the AK-47's and the Tommy? well they were shakin' real bad. Then we heard the old chest in the living room, in which we keep the detonators, that actually moved across the floor! Thank goodness we had the foresight to really strap down the Claymore mine boxes." Sorry, that was me walking through the house. I tried to be quiet.
sevillafox wrote in post #8346521 yeah....he's pretty useless. I have been torturing him. Yeah, we both used to go out and have a lousy following day. However, we had kids and I grew up. Yeah, my hubby quit drinking when he found his head stuck between the toilet and the wall. Well, not completely quit drinking, but very very careful about how much.LOL YAY!!! congrats!! puddlepirate44 wrote in post #8347181 It's been a while and I have some downtime, so I thought I'd do another State Mottos list: MT: We're mean enough to get away with a capitol named Helena. OR: Some very cool people live here WY: Look! We're a square! These are the ones that I will be in for a few years. *big smile* short5 wrote in post #8347490 What is the word, oh yeah, freedom . Actually it used to be, and still is some places, pretty normal for the den to have a glass gun case. So your guests can see your shooters . Due to the idea that guns get on the street through break ins, it has fallen from favor in more urban places. There is a vast portion of this country that break ins just don't happen, so there is really no reason not to display them, or lock your door for that matter. The other thing is, an 18 year old with a drivers license can go into a gun store and buy a rifle or shotgun over the counter. Telling the guy sitting alone in the middle of 9000 acres he has to keep his guns in a safe doesn't make much sense. Except for the home defense pieces I keep everything in a safe. Including the Ak-47, Ar-15, Mini-14, and a bunch of variants of "scary guns". Yeah, we have the glass fronted gun cases. Dare anyone to break in. sevillafox wrote in post #8347547 Well, I totally reamed corey out about remodeling a few minutes ago. Lost my temper....crumpled and threw out the plans I had drawn. He laughed and told me he gave the contractor the go ahead thursday. My story is the boys crumpled the plans. Don't ya just hate that? My hubby thinks it's hilarious when I get all steamin mad. Wow. Doesn't look to scarey to me. Freaky!!! Skrim17 wrote in post #8347798 Oh, and Zane *SO* has an accent!! (Jon and I, however, have no accent whatsoever) HAHA! Haven't heard you or Jon. But, Zane has just a slight accent. Not to much though. sevillafox wrote in post #8347952
Nice! I like this one! Very pretty cfpackerfan wrote in post #8348343 Did you tell everyone here that YOUR accent was so strong that I couldn't understand you and told you that you had the wrong number?? LOL! Those southern accents are a **** to understand. Woolburr wrote in post #8348378 Took a few shots at a little music festival today. I'd like some honest input on this particular shot. Thanks. Home from a great family weekend at the homeland. A couple for the Fish Dood. This is very near where we both grew up and it epitomizes the area: fog & cows. I snapped this one on my way to camp with a load of Starbucks. Had to wait for the cows to cross. ![]() I lost focus on my favorite from this set, but a random kitty I found: Love the cows. Looks like here at times. Very nice cats. HAHA!!!!! He didn't look to happy with that hat. Nice nostrils. LOL I really like this one. T.D. wrote in post #8348823 Maggie was in her bliss his weekend. This one was taken at a lake near the beach. The rest were taken at the camp where we go every year. I kept forgetting to take the CPL to the river. Wonderful Maggie shots! Could his grin get any bigger? Awwwwwwww love this. short5 wrote in post #8348997 Thanks, they are really sweet guys. We rode down to the creek and stood in it for like 45 minutes. I use a flat, close contact saddle, as such I can just lay back and rest my head on the horses rump. It was really nice to look up at the trees and then sort of doze off a bit in the breeze. Marq dipped his head and snoozed too. Leyla flopped forward on Harley's sleepy neck. I guess no doing that in western tack. So can you jump up on them from behind? Myself and daughter can run up behind the horse and launch into the saddle. asolie wrote in post #8349171 Nice! I think that color-type of horse is so pretty. I agree. my last horse was dappled grey like that. just a bit darker. Paula
