Nighters, Terri!

I'm off to the grocery store. I was waiting until evening to go, in the hopes that it would cool off a bit. It didn't.:(

Neat John. The shots look good, maybe a teeny tiny hair dark but could be my screen

I may have the brightness up on my screen a bit too much...

I'm not looking to argue, just to have some fun..

Ford vs Chevy

AMD vs Intel

Mac vs PC

Harley vs Honda...

Oh, yeah... Sometimes I plug the card reader in, too. I forgot about that. My laptop has a built-in SD card reader. That's nice for when I'm using my camcorder, but it doesn't help much with the DSLRs.

The Gateway latop we bought for Heather in 2005 has a slot for CF cards in addition to the one for SD cards and that was one of the reason we bought it. The Gateway we bought last fall for me only has a slot for SD cards. I had to buy a separate reader for CF cards for it. WTH? Do they think people just quit using CF cards altogether?

Not even close. It'll take a lot of work to beat this one...

Why did I quote this?

Anyone fancy a boat ride? Across the ocean?

I am still processing a zillion shots....playing catchup

The boat in orange (closest to me - there are two), did a whopping 594 nautical miles in 24 hrs...a world record for a monohull...but it was amazing to see them in action last month...

America's Cup class or some kind of ocean racing class?

At home, yes. Or, if you have a neighbor with an unsecured wireless network, you might not even need the router. ;)

I did that once when we had a power outage. I surfed for 45 minutes on my laptop battery and someone else's unsecured router... :mrgreeen:

I thought these signs were funny and thought of the off the wall conversations and banter that occurs here often, they would so fit.
