Hmmmmm, I think our TV might have finally bitten the dust. Just showing a bright thin line and sound.

Did you try squinting? It worked for me when my TV went like that.

every once in a while it pops up OK, but then jumps around and goes back to the thin line. In the morning it takes a good 15 minutes or so before it comes up.

Dell has some decent pricing...I wonder if they kill you on the shipping. I'll stop in Best buy today and see what's on sale.

Yeah Deb, we've been expecting its demise. It is about 17 years old or so.

Neil, I read Kona's fortune cookie...it said he was going to travel to many lands in the near future. I can only assume he's going to come to live with you. I'll mail his crate.

Wait till I retire ;-)a

I guess I'm a total dork. I never knew that Bombay and Mumbai were the same. I wonder why they changed the name? Bombay had such a mystique with the name. Mumbai does not.

It's all part of the post colonial re estalish indiginous culture thing that started in 1947 and still continues :-

Madras is now Chennai
Calcutta is now Kolkata
Bangalore is now Bengaluru
Puna is now Pune
Bombay is now Mumbai
Mysore is now Mysuru

and the list goes on and on and on (most people still use the old names.......)

Did you update something you didn't know you updated?

If I did, I hope I can figure it out today.

I hear you....mine would have freak attacks as well.

G'MAE all, in bed with a sick Toddler. He's really listless, no fever, but upchucked some stuff earlier. :( He's been eating a piece of toast for about 20 minutes now. Poor little dude, just isn't feeling well.
