I might try it as a BW (I don't have NIK Silver Efex, though), but honestly I very rarely care for BW shots. I've been shooting infrareds for years but wasn't a huge fan of it until I discovered the channel swap technique. I just have to have some color in there somewhere to make me happy. In my own work, I process IR for both color and b/w (depending on the image itself), but agree that the b/w version of this loses a lot of the "surreal" that the blue sky version has so much of.
