My reaction is the exact opposite. The color makes it look fake in my eyes, the black and white is spectacular. Different strokes for different folks.

I second this. Never much of a fan of the fake color added in black/white photos. The full b/w one looks great!

The best thing I ever did to my 10D was to have it converted. It's seen a lot more use since I thought I'd retired it all those years ago...
