30D: may be a noob question

The 30D doesnt have and doesnt NEED this feature because of the top LCD

Seriously, using the rear LCD for such things must suck a lot of juice....

I completly agree it does not need this feature and it probably does use up more battery, I have just got used to having the screen with my 400D and now my 50D so when I recently picked up the 30D I missed this screen. Just somthing to get used to, no big deal.

Eh sorry if i sounded a bit harsh

I know i will probubly leave it off if my next camera has it, purely because i have just gotten used to using the viewfinder or top lcd display...
