I haven't posted much lately but thought I would share this. I caught this little gal when the wife stopped the car to shoot a Kestrel. She didn't even see this beauty sitting there. After a short while she ducked into a nearby nestbox. I may be going back for more. 40D--100-400@400mm--f/5.6--1/400--ISO 400---ACR PS CS3

She's a beauty Tom,

Interesting to note how similar the female is to her Eastern Bluebird cousins. The males are very different... nearly flourescent turquoise in color. If you do go back for more, I hope you can capture a boy bird too.
