One of the charity themes of this past Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival was aid to displaced New Orleans' musicians. This set was on the main stage and was announced early on Sunday morning. Because of that very few members of the press were there, as well as only a couple hundred people in a field that held 80,000 the night before. The band was great and played as if the venue was filled. Myself and the other 3 photographers had the run of the place and were smiling and doing a little voodoo shuffle while shooting. Nice way to start the day.

These are real nice crisp, shots..

I'm real glad to see the New Orleans musicians getting out, and also getting some recognition...

Personally (years ago), I spent some months in the French Quarter on a resort job project... The old city is alive with music, all the time... The project I worked on (Rue Esplanade @ Frenchmen St. *Frenchmen Orleans*) is now a small hub and intersection for musical events...
