Peripheral illumination for none Canon

How can the peripheral illumination data be created for none Canon lenses, I have a number of Sigma and this feature looks good.


Canon: EOS 5DmkII • 50D • 40D • 350D • 100 f2.8L IS Macro • 70-200 f4L • 24-105 f4L IS • 17-40 f4L • 50 f1.4 • 60 f2.8 Macro • 85 f1.8 • 430EX • 580EX II • ST-E2
Sigma: 10-20 f4-5.6 EX DC HSM • 30 f1.4 EX DC HSM • 17-50 f2.8 EX • 24-70 f2.8 EX DG MACRO
Apple: CS3, Aperture & iPhoto. Various Manfrotto, Portaflash, Battery Grips, SanDisk & Lowepro

I think that information is pre programmed into the camera for just certain Canon lenses. Not even every Canon lens is supported by that feature, much less third party lenses.


Just a guy with a few photography goodies that challenge me anew every day! ;)
