These guys are hard to photograph. this is the best I've done so far.
And A crop to show the head and body.

DuaneN Cream of the Crop More info | The ones we have here on the East coast are mostly black. Nver seen one with white wings like that.

Thay do seem to stay out of reach but I came accross a hay field and they were turning the hay and these guys were staying low looking for dead mice so I took advantage. Yours are most likely the Black Vulture and they are all black this is a Turkey Vulture and the back half of the wings are silver ( looks white to me but the book says silver ) with a pale bill. To take Pictures is a gift to post them on POTN is an Honor.
