Good friend of mine has a couple of awesome dogs.....they are rescued Boxers. The pics were taken at Harris Lake, in NC. All shots with 30D and 70-200L f4 non-IS.

The collars would probably do some harm to restless and disobedient dogs.....but these two listen fairly well and have not once acted in a way to make the collars take affect. I believe she called these 'pincher' collars....instead of 'choke chains'. The spokes don't actually stick into the neck.......instead they are almost parallel. No harm done. :)

as a boxer owner I have to say I love these shots. On my 3rd generation dog. Good Job

3 is great looks like hey jumped right out of focus. Those collars aren't as bad as people think. They don't actually choke the dog like traditional chain chokers do. the spikes grab the attention of the dog with out choking them.
